Over the past couple months, I’ve been learning about minimalism. Now, I know being a “minimalist” seems to have become a new trend. However, I believe a true minimalist lifestyle is far from it. Minimalism, for me, truly has been a lifestyle change. I’m taking baby steps. I can’t remember how exactly I ended up jumping on this train, but I’m glad I did.

Getting rid of all the things I don’t enjoy anymore has been first on my list. I didn’t even realize how much we had packed into our apartment. Honestly, I’ve had no problems putting things into the donation pile. I’ve known for a while that I’ve had a shopping problem. Buying things just for the sake of buying them. But, that’s a whole other story.  Learning about minimalism has put an end to that habit.

I haven’t read all the books and I’m sure I haven’t seen all documentaries. But, I feel like I do understand the meaning of living more minimally. At least, I’m learning how to make it work best for my family. I’m just getting started, but I’m so excited to continue on this journey! I’m so excited to continue sharing it with you guys, as well!

See ya soon!
